Some cars earn their place in a garage not because of wild modifications, but because they arrive perfect from the factory. My 2013 Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG is exactly that kind of car, a super-sedan with the attitude of a coupe, powered by the legendary 5.5-liter Biturbo V8, and dressed in one of the classiest spec combinations Mercedes has ever offered.
Finished in Palladium Silver Metallic over a Designo Classic Red interior, this CLS63 carries the perfect balance of luxury and aggression. AMG styling, the sculpted rear quarter lines, and the deep metallic tone give the exterior a commanding look, while the Designo cabin feels like stepping into a bespoke grand tourer.
Despite owning multiple project cars, this one remains untouched. No upgrades, no tuning, no aesthetic changes. Not because it can’t be improved, but because it doesn’t need to be. Mercedes and AMG already did the work. The drivetrain, the handling, the comfort, the torque-rich 5.5 Biturbo… it all feels dialed-in straight out of Stuttgart.

Owning modified builds is fun, challenging, and rewarding — but sometimes, it’s refreshing to have a machine that delivers its full character without any intervention. The CLS63 is that break in the storm: a car you get into, drive hard or smooth, and step out of with a smile.
It’s a reminder that not every build needs a plan. Some cars simply earn the right to remain original..
