Hummer H2 Stereo Upgrade
Well, if you own a factory H2 in this era, you’re stuck with CDs and radio. No Bluetooth. There are several aftermarket upgrade replacements, depending what you’re looking for. In my case, the H2 is my daily and I just need Bluetooth for music. Did some basic research on forums, and have read most going with Kenwood, such as the DNX693S.
I wasn’t looking to spend much, and found a local store that had an aftermarket 7″ Android stereo that I went with (A-media auto).
Terrible stereo with a lot of static ringing noise when on and eventually failed after 2 years.

I later found another stereo/multimedia. 9.7 inch, Tesla looking style, (link) that includes a dash panel replacement, in Black, to fit the vertical style display, back up camera, a dash cam, and several other features. Basically a giant Android version of an iPad.

Works well, I’d give it 7/10.
The backup camera at 720p is super clear.
One thing to note is setting up the equalizer, which I had a hard time to set perfectly. Pair it up with a subwoofer might also be a good choice. Below are my settings that I found satisfying and clear enough.
First, choose scene mode to “Heavy Metal ” and then pump up anything below 500hz up to 6 or 9 dcb. Anything above 500 set to 0 dcb. What really did the trick and improve base was in the sound mode pages. Sub Gain to 9 with 200hz and Base boost to 9 or below with 200hz.
